To help you get started, buy one of our low-cost subscriptions. You will receive your story kit in two versions, short and long. Start answering the questions, and when you’re ready, send us your story! Also, send us a few sentences on what you will do with your 10 books — are they thank-you gifts for special friends or love-you gifts for people who need to know God? If your story is selected to win the prize, we’ll meet you online for a Zoom call to choose pictures with you (alternatively, you can send us your pictures). Then we’ll make your softcover book for you with our on-demand publishing software and send you 10 copies!

We give away as many prizes as we can every month, so give it a try! You do need to subscribe to enter the contest, but even if you subscribe for just one month and cancel, you are still eligible to win. And remember, if you do not win, you will still have your story! As part of your subscription, we’ll send you tips on using free online resources to get pictures and time-saving tips for putting your book together.

Here’s an example of a complete one-month subscription. First, you’ll receive a story kit. In weeks 2-3, you will receive supplemental worksheets to dive deeper. In week 4, you’ll get book-making and video ideas. Plus, as a bonus, we’re also sending our Bible-Based Reading and Phonics which includes English language practice. This is great for both English learners and kids who need repetitive reading practice. In total, you’ll receive about 50 pages a month as PDFs. We use PDFs so you can reduce screen time by printing them, or you can download them and use them offline.
