We’ll help your child or teenager engage with the Bible to become a Christian author! Every book is a wonderful gift that you can share with those you love. Whom do we serve?
Struggling Readers
Writing a book is a great way to incentivize struggling readers. Here’s a few reasons:
- Books feel more like friends when we become authors!
- Phonics are supplemented with memory. Kids will not remember every word they wrote, so they will still need phonics. And yet, because they can remember their ideas generally, reading will be easier.
- As kids read their own books over and over again, they will memorize sight words.
- Their book will be connected to the Bible. As they begin to enjoy reading, they will see that God’s Word is good.
Struggling Writers
- Writing develops creativity. It’s not just the creative who write; rather, those who persevere at writing become more creative.
- We can learn nouns, verbs, and other parts of speech in a fun and purposeful way as we craft stories and conversations.
- Writing and articulation go together! Learning to write can help kids express their thoughts. We must be able to articulate our questions and ideas to seek the truth.
Kids Who Love Reading and Writing
- Kids who love reading and writing want to become authors.
- When a child has these strengths, it’s best to build on them.
- Children who write well for their age still need help in understanding the gospel, especially in having the strength to withstand pop culture.
- Though STEM fields are more lucrative in this world, reading the Bible is a foundational skill for building treasures in heaven.
